Las Vegas Rugby Academy Youth League

Las Vegas Rugby Academy Youth League starts Tuesday 23 2010 at Sunset Park. Training starts for all teams (Under 7, Under 10, Under 13 and Under 19) at 4pm. Registration starts at 330pm - 4pm. The fee is $75.00 for the season and first game is March 6th 2010. Training are Tuesday and Thursday 4pm-6pm. We had over 80 kids turnout to the "LVRA "we dare you to TRY" rugby clinic and we look forward to those kids to continue playing the fun game of rugby. Please spread the word! 1. Marketing: Making Las Vegas Rugby Academy a common household name and a place where kids of all ages and men and women, as well as international players and coaches come to train and learn rugby.

2. Facility: By creating a safe, fun and family oriented place. Using the first class and top of the line equipments to ensure safety and proper technique.

3. Qualified Administration and Staff: Having qualified personnel who are knowledgeable can ensure the members and its visitors are properly trained correctly. Thus ensuring a safe, fun, and family oriented place to learn the fun activity of rugby.

4. Community events: supporting and/or sponsoring the community in various events. Showing the community that LVRA is here to help the community grow.

5.Women Rugby: supporting and encourage girls and women to be self reliant and compete in the world stage alongside the men. USA women’s rugby team is one of the top team in the world but is lacking the interest, sponsorship, and training needed to prepare them to compete against the world’s best.

6.Scholarships: Giving members the opportunity to further their education and achieve degree of their desire while playing rugby.

Mission Statement

Las Vegas Rugby Academy‘s (LVRA) main focus is to promote and enhance the sport of rugby. LVRA will educate the community of the fundamental of rugby as well as to have a safe, fun, and family oriented place.

LVRA will show and teach teamwork, communication, cohesion, and camaraderie. Encourage individuals to find self worth, and be role model to the community.

It is our mission to provide the best training, programs, staff, and equipment, to fully meet the fitness and various needs of our members.

LVRA also wants to promote the importance of continually education and give student scholarships to achieve that goal.

LVRA is determined to create an unmatched rugby atmosphere that will add the enjoyment of every member, administration, staff, volunteers, and fans.

LVRA strives to support and sponsor community events, as well as host them.

LVRA hopes are to have everyone, no matter what ages, size, gender, race or athletic ability to fall in love with rugby.

Objective

1. Have 100 kids (ages 6 – 19) 50 men and women be part of the LVRA in the first year, 200 kids and 100 men and women by the end of year two, and 300 kids and 200 men and women by year three.

2.Organize and develop a rugby leagues and market them effectively so as to fill them to capacity. (i.e. four leagues running throughout the year with 8-16 teams per league)

3.Sponsor and /or support at least (5) community events in our first year of operation

4.Market effectively and promote women’s rugby

5.Promote the importance of education and give Student-Athletes of LVRA scholarships to further their education.

6.To reach out to the Polynesian community and educate them to further their education and find better option to better their lives and their family.

7.To provide positive setting, physical fitness, and self worth. Be an intervention and help provide a pathway to be successful in life.

Executive Summary

Las Vegas Rugby Academy (LVRA) is a non-profit Rugby Company reaching out to the community to promote, educate and enhance the sport of Rugby. We want to market Las Vegas and surrounding area but also throughout the nation. There is not another rugby program around Las Vegas to help the community understand the fundamentals of the sports and the positive influence it can have on an individual and/or teams. Regardless of age, gender, race, and athletic ability Las Vegas Rugby Academy will ensure that individual would leave with self confidence, self images, sportsmanship and a good citizen.

Las Vegas Rugby Academy keys to success would be to bring in the best players and qualify/certified coaches around the nation and world. Las Vegas Rugby Academy will continue to educate and enhance the administrations, employee, volunteers, and agents understanding of rugby, so that individual, group or teams can get the best training and facilities.

Rugby is one of the oldest sports in the world and is played by more the 120 countries. The rugby world cup is the 3rd most watched sports in the world. USA was the last nation to win a gold medal in the 1924 Olympics in Paris. Rugby has been remitted back into the Olympics for 2016 and Las Vegas Rugby Academy can prepare and train future Olympians. Las Vegas Rugby Academy is confidence that it will have a steady profit of interest to be part of the academy and grow rugby in Las Vegas and throughout the nations.
